Pastor Dr. Wendy Mitchell is:
A true and sincere vessel of God with a rare, exceptional talent that spreads the gospel with a unique kind of “Gift” to sing and to persuade persons to spiritually transorm their lives, that only few women as gospel leaders possess. A native of the twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, Wendy started singing in church at the age of thirteen years old, and it did not take long for her skills and strong vocal ability to win her roles that led to years of singing as a professional. Wendy sang with some of the greatest Calypso singers, including The Mighty Sparrow, Baron, Kitchener and Calypso Rose. One of the greatest accomplishments for Wendy was joining the world renowned Byron Lee and the Dragonaires in 1984 as their first ever female vocalist to record and tour with them exclusively. She toured the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean with the band and appeared with many musical greats like Ben E. King and Freddy McGregor to name a few. Wendy has sung at the world famous Hippodrome Club in London, Madison Square Garden in New York, The Palladium in Los Angeles, and The National Stadium in Barbados and has been recording music ever since.
She has sung for Prime Ministers Edward Seaga of Jamaica and Raymond Robinson of Trinidad & Tobago, American Business Mogul Merv Griffin, Congress Woman Yvette Dianne Clark, Mayor David Dinkins of New York and other prominent political and entertainment leaders worldwide.
The “Wendy” of the present is very different. She’s given her life to Christ over 28 years ago and serves as a vessel that’s completely sold out to Christ. She has changed her life and music – and her music is now changing lives. Her voice now, she contends, is but a vocal instrument used to minister to others to win them to Christ. She released her first gospel CD -The Upward Way- in June of 2003, and followed with her second CD release -New Life/ New Hope-and First Visionary Fathers Awards ceremony in June of 2005. She has since released a total of seven Gospel Albums.
She is highly driven by her passion according to; Matthew 28:19 NIV–Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”, to evangelize and lead others to Christ, to train young people for ministry and to teach the Word of God. Now as a Pastor, she is actively involved in ministering at Homeless Shelters, Drug Rehab Centers, Nursing Homes, Prisons and at various hospitals throughout Atlanta Georgia and is the Pastor of Regenerating Lives Ministries U.S.A Inc. located in Covington, Georgia. She can also be found traveling the world preaching at crusades, winning souls to Christ, singing and providing missions outreach to the world’s less fortunate. Including but not limited to planting a water reservoir and local health clinic in the mountains of Tomasin Haiti, launching an active prison ministry initiative and outreach programs throughout the Caribbean islands including St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Mandeville Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. These outreach initiative allowed her access into the local prisons and has provided bibles and reading glasses for the prisoners who accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior, to have regular bible study and school supplies so they can obtain the equivalent of their high school diplomas. Pastor Mitchell’s ministry has reached into Kenya, Panama, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Tanzania, Barbados, Liberia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Honduras, Guyana, and Senegal to name a few.
Pastor Dr. Mitchell is currently seeking to complete a project of planting a library in her native island of Tobago called the Regenerating Lives Center of Hope in one of the local primary schools and has also done another planting in Guyana called the Regenerating Lives Mission of Hope in August of 2021. She is passionate about women and children and has also launched initiatives like her annual Women’s Empowerment Conferences that have been used to empower women and her children’s initiative that has provided toys at her Annual Toy Drive, ministering to over 300 children in need and school supplies to those less fortunate. She is a firm believer that whatever that she does is nothing but a tool to win a soul to Christ.
In December of 2020 Pastor Mitchell received an honorary doctorate from the Heart Bible International University and in December of 2021 she was awarded A Lifetime Achievement Award by President Joe Biden’s Administration for her local and worldwide Philanthropic Work. She remains humble and is content to go wherever the Lord sends her. She is a student, preacher and teacher of the Word, a Licensed International Chaplain, CEO and Host of RLOM Go Tell Radio Program, a Christian Life Coach, Mentor, Motivational Speaker and an Ordained Pastor but her passion above all passions, is to raise her melodious voice in praise to God and to win souls for his kingdom. Pastor Mitchell has attended “Christian Gospel Missions College” with studies in Theology, Christian Counseling and Children’s Ministries and is currently working to achieve her doctorate in Theology as she continues her pursuit of biblical excellence. She is set to leave for Sierra Leone, Ghana and Liberia in December of 2022 for the mission field.
